Belardi Wong, a leading full-service marketing, is currently seeking an Account Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a marketing professional to leverage their expertise and skill set to take their career to the next level. This is a remote position within the continental United States.

 

This individual is responsible for planning, production, and analytical support working with industry leading multi-channel retailers, digitally native brands, and wholesale brands. While ensuring marketing initiatives are accurately completed in a timely manner, they will interact regularly with our Strategic Services team, industry vendors, and clients.

They possess strong project management and marketing metric skills, have an ability to forge strong vendor relationships, and are proficient in Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.

 

Responsibilities

An Account Manager's responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Planning, preparation and presentation of mail plans, and recommendations for new and current accounts. Develop and implement client strategy.
  • Role focuses on clients’ CRM and customer acquisition programs through direct mail and catalogs
  • Recognize opportunities to cross-sell and upsell other Belardi Wong services and products.
  • Detailed analytical skills to report on campaign, seasonal, and annual success metrics.
  • Create PowerPoint decks to review results, plans, and strategy options with clients.
  • Solid understanding of co-op database models and audience development.
  • Maintain accuracy of reporting & integrity of customer service relationships with clients.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and technology advancement in the industry.
  • Responsible for keeping client schedules and establishing meeting dates.
  • Work with Account Leads to review Account Status and ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Overall management and retention of client accounts.
  • Proactive problem resolution.
  • Participate in external and internal meetings as requested.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

In addition, an Account Manager's responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: 

  • Onboard assigned clients onto Swift platform
  • Manage production of clients’ Swift campaigns in Access and with Swift vendors
  • Work with clients on strategy and planning, including changes to circ based on available audience and model scores
  • Report on Swift campaign results
  • Ensure positive client experience
  • Must be detail-oriented, well-organized, and happy to work in a fast-paced environment

 

Qualifications

In addition, our "ideal candidate" has the following skills & experience: 

 

  • Minimum 4+ years direct marketing experience required. Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) required.
  • Mailer, Co-op database, or agency experience preferred.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint knowledge.
  • Knowledge of general industry procedures, practices, and terminology.
  • Knowledge of supervisory techniques to accomplish instruction, motivation, and training of personnel.
  • Skill in group facilitation and leadership.
